For too long, America's youth have waded through quagmires teeming with music industry pseudo-personas. They have seen through the clumsy facades of bands like Kiss, Gwar and the Spice Girls. Our children, intelligent in their cynicism, will no longer eat clever merchandizing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will attach themselves to music that is new, and music that is real. Insane Clown Posse is about as real as a Jabberwocky, and my friends, that is real. ICP's recent documentary, "Shockumentary," presents us with two former gangsters turned Wicked Clowns, Violent Jay and Shaggy 2 Dope, as the forerunners of a dark and mysterious rap style stemming directly from their occult lifestyles. Jay and 2 Dope are the new ambassadors of hardcore ghetto music, transplanting their "mad fresh" rhymes into white suburban homes across America, proving that our adolescents can still tell the difference between musical artists and obnoxious, gurgling commercial toilets.
"Shockumentary," as the title suggests, was shocking. I was appalled by raucous antics like throwing soda pop on concert crowds, and damn near blinded by the extremely raw two seconds of nudity that flashed before my innocent eyes. Interviews with real, conservative adults (not actors!) helped confirm my beliefs that ICP truly is a work of the devil. Because if you're fashionable, you love Satan, and really good music always pisses off the parents. Besides, if it's labeled with a parental advisory, how can it be bad?
If the honest documentary aspect of this tape doesn't convince you that J and 2 Dope are as hard as an exoskeleton, then the three or four videos included certainly will. Harkening back to their roots, ICP pull out all the staples of the rap video, slinging out originality as abundantly as dreadlocks-in-strobelight shots. So for a thrill close to packin' a nine, check out ICP's "Shockumentary," a video that will take you straight to the heart of ghetto mentality.
On a scale of 4 thumbs down to 4 thumbs up, I give this video 4 Thumbs Up.

The Insane Clown Posse is a group of two white ex-gang members from Detroit who wear clown makeup and rap for white, suburban, middle of the road teens whose parents don't care enough to ban this disgusting music from their homes. This is the kind of music that corrupts. Corruption runs rampant thorough the streets of America's suburbs because of the devil dressed in the form of this hideous "Music" group, the Insane Clown Posse.
The most recent offense spewed forth by this former street gang-turned-rappers is a documentary video called the "Shockumentary." This piece of trash is obviously inspired by groups such as Kiss and the Spice Girls.
Let me explain. Kiss, was a 1970s hard rock group wore carnival makeup on stage and performed what boils down to satanic rites for the pulsating, ignorant masses of children who were gullible enough to rebel against their parents for the sake of this evil form of "artistic expression." The ex-gang members of the ICP wear makeup very similar to the type worn by the evil Kiss group. It makes me sick that anyone would want to copy a band so grossly evil as Kiss, but the Insane Clown Posse has, with apparently no regrets or thought to their eternal future.
Although the Insane Clown Posse is not from England, they imitate the Spice Girls by using preposterous stage names and a glut of merchandising to appeal to the children that decent people like me and you have worked so hard to raise.
Instead of Posh Clown or Baby Clown, these ex-gang members (have I mentioned that yet?) have assumed the identities of Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, obviously touting their own personality disorders which no doubt center around violence and drugs (dope' being street slang for marijuana).
I could go on and on about the Insane Clown Posse, but I am out of room in this column, so to sum up my feelings on this group:
Inane Colon Posse.
On a scale of 4 thumbs down to 4 thumbs up, I give this video 4 Thumbs Down.

I am a parent who is against this evil band. I am not a goody two shoe parent and I have listened to all kinds of music...that is what makes me feel that this is not music for music sake...it is a form of mind grabbing tactics to lure in kids that are not excepted by their peers and so turn to other kids that are as gulible and loney as they are. Who do the ICP get to listen to them????? A bunch of misfits that are as miserable as they are. That is nothing to hold your head up about.....they are vile, disgusting and should be banned from every playing again.

o.k icp is far from satanic while they have alot of villaint lyrics and seem very dark they aren't at the end of their latest cd The wraith's exhibit of shangri-la in the song the unveiling they say "when we speak of shangri-la what you think we mean. Truth is we follow GOD we've always been behind him. The carnival is GOD and may aaaaalllllllll juggalos find him." then they begin to say "we are sorry if we tricked you." which is them say they r sorry for giving some people the wrong message about them becuz they didnt really listen to their songs

You believe in ICP and God? You should place any extra faith you've got in the good book. And when I say "the Good Book," I'm not the Bible, I'm talking about the Dictionary. I actually really liked the Great Melinko. Look up "tongue in cheek" and maybe "sarcastic" in your new Good Book.

If you shallow idiots could look past the cussing, you would see that ICP is not a satanic duo at all. If you would actually listen to their songs, you would realize that they are against racism, rape, drugs, and pretty much all forms of violence. They have a message and they are trying to reach everyone through the only way that they know how...MUSIC! They aren't just third graders who try to see how many times they can swear in one song. They do have some songs with no point to them, but in those songs the are just having fun like everybody else tries to. They are nothing like Kiss or the Spice Girls, just because their make-up is the same colors as Kiss dosn't mean that they are trying to be Kiss, and just because they have stage names doesn't mean that they are trying to be the Spice Girls. Mark Twain had a fake name, is he trying to be the Spice Girls too? Next time do a little research before you try to diss somebody!!! Oh, and Andy, it's Violent J, not Violent "Jay," get it right.

i think it would be stupid if insane CLOWN posse
didn't wear CLOWN make up, and dope in this case dose
not mean drugs, it's like saying "cool", and like
michael said the songs may be violent but the message
is not, and as for them being satanic, just reverse
the chorus on the song "echoside" and it says "fuck
the devil, fuck that shit, we belive in life legit, if
you diggin what we say, why you throw your soul
away?", do satanic people talk like that? or was it
just you judgeing a book by its cover...

If you can't tell when someone's tongue is in their cheek, you really shouldn't be listening to the Insane Clown Posse.
