Redheaded Stepchild
Time Will Tell
Redheaded Records

So there I was, in Buffalo, New York, at one of my dad's concerts, waiting for the opening band to come on. Some band that I thought I may have heard of, but wasn't sure. Redheaded Stepchild. Where had I heard of them before? I never found out, but hot damn, I enjoyed their set. By the end of their show, I knew that I had to have a copy of their album.

This record isn't too hard to describe, but it's kind of hard to emphasize how much fun it is. Bluegrass, blues, R&B, Country. It's anything but straight-up anything. You can't listen to this record and not nod your head, or tap your feet. It's like 16 Horsepower without the whiny vocals. Except more accessible, and more diverse.

If you're still unconvinced, click on the cover image to see the cover larger, in it's full glory. I think that this may be one of my favorite record covers ever.

My highest recommendation. Go get a copy right now at www.redheaded-stepchild.com.
