Pete Yorn sings kind of like Dave Matthews, but the music behind him sounds nothing like dave. Pete claims that he "wanted to make a record [he] would be proud of and believe in. [He] didn't want to make it for the wrong reasons, just to get it on the radio, but [he] also want[s] people to hear it. It sounds like this album may have been made about 50% for the radio. He's a helluva songwriter, but sometimes the songs are a little too radio-friendly.
