I put this double disc set on in the presence of an electronica/techno fan, and told her that I was reviewing it for The Excuse. She said "tell them that it's good and makes you dance." So there you have it. These discs feature 20 different bands from the Virginia (yep, the state) electronic underground. What amazes me is that there's this much of this type of music in Virginia. Some sort of heretofore untapped gold mine of techno (or is it electronica? What's the difference anyway?).

It made me dizzy personally, but the girl who liked it wouldn't do the review for me. So take her word for it. Track this one down and play it at your next party. It'll get everyone seasick from bobbing their heads.
