Nobody does dylan like dylan, but a lot of people sure try. This album features a stack of GREAT artists covering Bob Dylan songs in honor of Bob's 60th birthday (May 26). Although the artists chosen for this tribute are some of the best folk/blues/country artists around right now, the songs are kind of hit or miss. My favorite track is "Clothes Line Saga" covered by Suzy & Maggie Roche. After that, the standouts are Martin Simpson's ccover of "Boots of Spanish Leather" and Greg Brown's "Pledging My Time" which features Bo Ramsey. And we can't forget to plug Ramblin' Jack Elliott's amusing intro and cover of "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right." The real gem though is the liner notes and packaging. If you like Bob or any of the artists on this Disc, you'd be a madman not to buy this CD.
