Self billed as "America's Favorite Western Dance Combo," Big Sandy's music is just plain fun to listen to. Not really country music and certainly not rock music. This is country swing channeled through a light rock-a-billy sound. No one who has ever heard this album has walked away without a smile on their face. Big Sandy's strong vocal style, his red hot, solid band and fun, yet a bit risqué, songs, make this album a must for anyone who enjoys the retro sounds of the Squirrel Nut Zippers or is interested in new western swing. You cannot go wrong with the 'Boys.
